How we tested this website
This website was last tested in May 2023. The test was carried out by the Bagby and Balk Parish Council Clerk using a PC, tablet and mobile phone.
· Various pages of the site were increased in size to 300% of normal text, the text did not spill off the screen and was still legible. Screen prints were taken to evidence this.
· Navigation around the website was undertaken using the “tab, arrow” and “enter” keys, no area of the website was found to be inaccessible.
Accessibility tests not undertaken
There were two accessibility tests not undertaken in May 2023 due to further advice being required. However, GoDaddy, the website provider indicates that for both of these areas our website is compliant.
· Changing the contrast levels and fonts were not tested at this time
· Navigation of the website using speech recognition software or screen reader was not tested at this time.
What we are doing to improve accessibility
Bagby and Balk Parish Council will keep reviewing the website to ensure accessibility is a priority.
